
Golden Turmeric Garlic Bread: A Healthy Twist on Classic Sourdough

Ingredients
- 4 large cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup organic butter
- 2-3 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp The Broth Sisters Activated Turmeric and Ginger Paste
- 1 loaf of sourdough bread, sliced
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 Degrees C.
- Peel outer layer of the garlic. Using a sharp knife, cut 3cm from the top of the bulb and massage olive oil on the exposed garlic.
- Wrap garlic in foil and place in the oven for approx. 45 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool. NB: Leave the oven on as you will need to use it again.
- Combine butter, garlic (you can squeeze the roasted garlic out of its skin), parsley, and the Activated Turmeric and Ginger Paste in a saucepan.
- Place over low-medium heat and stir for 3-4 minutes, or until the paste has melted.
- Spread turmeric garlic mix on the sourdough bread, coating the surface.
- Place the garlic bread on a sheet of foil, wrap and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is crispy.
- Serve and enjoy.
