Here's how to make it:
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews (soaked in filtered water for 1-2 hours)
- 1/3 cup nutritional yeast
- 3/4 cup filtered water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp Broth Sisters Activated Turmeric & Ginger Paste
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 200 grams pasta of choice
Method
- Drain and rinse soaked cashews.
- Place in a high-speed blender with all remaining ingredients (except pasta). Blend until smooth and creamy. This takes a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta as per packet instructions.
- Pour the creamy ‘cheese’ sauce on top of the pasta and gently toss.
- Transfer to serving bowls and top with salt, pepper and/or micro greens.
